DFW HIMA Earns 501c(6) Status

We are proud to announce a major milestone for our organization! The Dallas Ft. Worth Health Information Management Association is now a 501c(6)!

This designation is imperative for the sustainability and viability of our organization. Our Not-For-Profit status ensures that we can continue to serve our mission and members with quality and affordable education events and legislative advocacy. Other key benefits to having 501c(6) designation is that we are now recognized by the state of Texas as a business and have IRS tax exemption. We are so excited to share this major milestone with you.
