DFW HIMA Call for Board Nominations

The Dallas-Fort Worth Health Information Management Association (DFW HIMA) Nominating Committee wants you to suggest fellow members and/or yourself as possible candidates for the DFW HIMA Executive Board positions for the next fiscal year starting July 1, 2023.

Nominations are open for the following positions:

  • President-Elect
  • Treasurer

Job Descriptions

The President-Elect shall perform all duties of the president in his or her absence or inability to act. The President-Elect shall prepare notices of meetings to the membership. The President-Elect shall serve as Chairperson of the Programs Committee.

The Treasurer shall be the custodian of the funds of the DFW HIMA and shall maintain an account of monies received, dispense funds for DFW HIMA purposes, and submit monthly and annual reports for approval. The Treasurer shall serve as the Chairperson of the Budget Committee.
